Offered is this rare Antique German majolica Display Plate. We’ve added a photograph of this plate (Photo 11) from the V&B Book in the Keramik-Museum. We found this and others at a private sale in Saverne, France. This is an old piece with an unusual kiln mark on the backside rim (photos 8,9 &10)and a tiny kiln spot on the front face (photo 3). See all photos for more details. It has a high gloss and deep rich colors. It measures 7.5. In diameter and is in excellent condition for its great age. A fabulous addition to your collection.
