Antique Unique German Folk Art Hand Painted Wooden Box
This lovely antique German Folk Art decorated box is 12. 5 inches in length and 4.25 in height from bottom of foot to top of box. The wooden dowel that holds the front together has pushed out slightly. I did not attempt to put back in place. It is similar to Marie Lang. Her wooden crafts and boxes are often marked with a sticker label, that frequently falls off over the decades. This hand-painted box is early 1900s. It is unique and beautifully decorated. In very good condition with the colors bright and paint has minimal wear. Please see photos for condition.
