1740's EARLY GERMAN MALLET Continental Black Glass
Found along the mudbanks of British Guyana! This early German Mallet has beautiful unique form. Amber/Green coloured with a ribbon string lip and an open pontil it also features a water-washed matte outer-layer. Freeblown, straight sided this mallet has character and not to forget bubbles around the neck base. The mouth is also slightly flared as shown in the pics. It does have a star crack on the shoulder erea of appr. 3.5cm but will not be vicible when displayed between a collection. Further it has no other issues such as repairs or chips.
