Outstanding work of artists at Volkstedt Factory featuring beautiful girl with lifelike details in luxurious pink lace dress adorned with flowers in golden shoes, richly gildt decorated. Bearing authentic Volkstedt mark under glaze. Measures 4.5″H X 5″ W. Excellent antique condition, has minor lace loss that is common for all lace figurine. Antique German ABG 1362 Alt Beck Gottschalck Bisque Head Doll My Girl 24

Alt, Beck & Gottschalck, ABG is also known as Porzellanfabrik von Alt, it was founded by Gottlieb Beck and Theodor Gottschalck and joined by Friedrich Alt and Christian Ernst Reinhold in 1881, they were located in Nauendorf near Ohrdruf, Stutzhaus, Germany. ABG produced antique bisque, China head or Parian Lady dolls with kid, cloth or composition bodies, beautifully detailed child bisque socket head dolls and character baby dolls, all bisque dolls, as well as they decorated pottery from 1854 to around 1941. In 1920 the firms of Alt, Beck & Gottschalck, Alt & Koch, Carl Beck & Alfred Schulze merged. The painting portrays a young girl, dressed the style of the day, as she gazes out with quite a serious and insightful expression for her age. The painting is enhanced with a silver gilded frame. Antique German Bisque Head crude body doll 5 boy and girl

Antique German Bisque Head crude body doll 5 boy and girl with very old sewn on clothes (most likely factory manufactured cloths). Cute little dolls are a perfect cabinet size. Estimate dolls to be manufactured in early 1900’s. Believe these dolls are Theodor Recknagel or FW Goebel, but not positive. Two lot set includes. Girl doll approximately 5 tall. Wearing beige sewn on dress and pantaloons and painted shoes (shoes have chips). Inset brown glass eyes and closed month. Bisque head has brown (applied glued on hair) some strands coming out in back. Incise back of head is #13 but hard to read. Doll is jointed arms and legs on crude boy (stringing is loose and head is a little wobbly). Boy doll approximately 5 tall. Wearing beige sewn on shirt and shorts and painted shoes (shoe has chip). Inset brown glass eyes and closed mouth. Bisque head has brown (applied glues on hair) some strands coming out. Incise back of head “DEP R22 or 29″ hard to read. Doll is jointed arms and legs on crude body (stringing is loose and head is a little wobbly) needs TLC. Please review all pictures they show best description.
