Presented is a fine German silver fish or dessert knife. This piece dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s, and is likely by a Hanau maker. The handle is done in an interesting design, with a nude demi-caryatid sort of figure holding a large wreath and crown above her head. The blade of the knife is beautifully pierced and engraved with a scrolling foliate design. Applied to the blade right above the handle is a design of an eagle with its wings spread inside a shield shape. The knife is very well made, with a nice feeling of weight and balance in the hand. This piece is in excellent condition. The details of the designs are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no cracks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs. The knife is stamped with two Hanau German type hallmarks, one of a capital K and one of a cluster of grapes. We guarantee these to be at least. The knife is about 8 1/2 inches long. Antique Hand Painted Ceramic Late 1800s Early 1900s German Porcelain Laughing Lady or Gypsy (I’m not sure which) Bottle Stopper Cork Excellent Condition! This bottle stopper originated in Germany in the late 1800’s to early 1900’s, based on Craftsman and stampings. This piece is in excellent condition! No chips or cracks. The hat is held on by, what appears to be the original, string and has the original corking. The piece is stamped, “Germany 6325″. Such a great piece! A perfect addition to your historic German collectibles collection or your bottle stopper / cork collection. Approx 4″ X 1.5″ X 2.

These spoons have a woman dancing on the handles with a twisted stem. The bowl is designed like a leaf. Let the photos be your guide. These spoons were made late 1800’s-early 1900’s. The spoons are tested and guaranteed for at least 800 purity silver. Each spoon is marked with Hanau Pseudo marks. The spoons are in good condition. Fine old German violin late 1800 / early 1900. Please listen to the video/soundfile & scroll down to see all detailed XXL photos below as part of the description! Nicely carved scroll and accurately inlaid purfling. There’re no cracks or open seams. The table is medium to fine grained spruce and the 1-piece back, as well as ribs, is maple. The instrument has been checked by our luthiers and by our violin player on playability. In our workshop it received new setup with newly fitted elder ebony pegs, new ebony tailpiece, new ebony chinrest, a new bridge and new strings. Good old German violin in immediate playing condition! Total 59,5 cm / 23.4″, body 36 cm / 14.17″, vibrating chord length 33 cm / 12.99, weight 511 gr / 18 oz. For further questions please feel free to ask.

This is a nice a ntique l ate 19th e arly 20th c entury German s igned e tching of a l andscape(if anyone knows the artist please let me kn ow). Signed in the lower right and is extremely fain t. In pretty good shape as the pics show with some minor wear to the frame. F rame measures 1 4 3/4″ x 1 2 1 /4 ” and the sight is 10 1/2″ x 7 3/4″.
