These spoons have a woman dancing on the handles with a twisted stem. The bowl is designed like a leaf. Let the photos be your guide. These spoons were made late 1800’s-early 1900’s. The spoons are tested and guaranteed for at least 800 purity silver. Each spoon is marked with Hanau Pseudo marks. The spoons are in good condition. Antique Meissen Porcelain & Silver Cufflinks Porzellan Manschettenknöpfe German
A rare set of cufflinks made by Meissen in the early 20th century. Each has a round porcelain panel in the center that is hand painted with a superb floral arrangement on a white ground with the surrounding being cobalt blue ground with a nice gold design over that. They are held in place by silver mounts as shown with that piece in the back that swivels to keep it in place when used as a cufflink. The porcelain is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark – first quality and the silver is marked 835 GS F on one and a triangle instead of the F on the other set as shown. The set is in perfect condition – the silver could use a polishing but no other issues. Each front silver mounted porcelain piece has a diameter of about 0.875 inches and are about 1/16 of an inch thick. The sterling piece stick out about 0.75 inches when in use. A really fun set for the porcelain nut like myself! . You’ll stick out with these at your next party! If you like my goodies have a look at my other auctions for a lot more top maker pieces. Lt 1800s/early 1900s German. 800 Silver Chased Dresser Box Secret Meeting Scene. Presented is a handsome German silver box from the late 1800s or early 1900s. The lid of the box features a detailed scene of a group of 18th century garbed men and women, possibly George Washington meeting with patriots to read a letter from the front, or another colonial scene, if this piece were made for the American market. The sides of the box have a rich hand chased design of flowers and elegantly scrolled foliage, with a basket of flowers on either end of the box and a blank oval cartouche on the front and back. This piece is in great overall condition. There is a very minor split in one corner of the lid, but this does not effect the useability of the piece and is quite hard to notice. There are no other splits, no breaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs. The box is stamped with Hanau style pseudo marks. We have tested the box with nitric acid and guarantee it to be at least 800 purity silver. The box has approximate dimensions of 5 3/4 by 4 1/4 by 2 inches, LxWxH. Eagle mark, possibly Frankfurt. Has a few dents to the bowl, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 3 3/4 inches wide x 16 1/2 inches long. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
