Early 1900’s Antique German Silver Cup Embellished Ciborium Chalice. This ornate piece stands 14″ high X 6.5″ base. It features a gold over German Silver Cup that measures 5.25 in diameter and is marked with the early Austrian mark for German Silver and the letters JK, most likely the silversmith J. Kregar from Ljubljana for a Sts. Cyril and Methodius parish. The Chalice without the cover stands 9.75 High. All in Excellent condition!

Ornate late 1800s/early 1900s German. 850 Silver Fish / Dessert Knife 8.5

Presented is a fine German silver fish or dessert knife. This piece dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s, and is likely by a Hanau maker. The handle is done in an interesting design, with a nude demi-caryatid sort of figure holding a large wreath and crown above her head. The blade of the knife is beautifully pierced and engraved with a scrolling foliate design. Applied to the blade right above the handle is a design of an eagle with its wings spread inside a shield shape. The knife is very well made, with a nice feeling of weight and balance in the hand. This piece is in excellent condition. The details of the designs are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no cracks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs. The knife is stamped with two Hanau German type hallmarks, one of a capital K and one of a cluster of grapes. We guarantee these to be at least. The knife is about 8 1/2 inches long. This is a huge 10 x 15 pulp die cut from early 1900s, Germany. Almost perfect, tiny tip of one tree missing. Some photos are taken in natural light, others are taken with flash. Have never seen another like it. I have placed it on a piece of foam board with thick plastic wrap around it. It is not glued to any surface nor has it ever been. It is not a flat image but is deeply embossed. Can use it as is or frame it if you choose. All sales are final. Items are from a smoke and pet-free home.

Circa 1905 antique Art Nouveau WMF Jugenstil cut glass ewer jug with Britania metal silverplated top. This model is illustrated on page 137 of the book “Art Nouveau domestic metalwork from Wurttembergische Metallwaren Fabrik 1906″ published by the antique Collector’s Club. Very RARE and hard to find. The ewer is marked at the lower part of the handle. Dimensions: 15 high x 7 1/8 wide (handle to spout) x 5 1/8 in diameter at the bottom. Condition: Very Good, no chips on glass.
