The head will be stuffed to protect the eyes. The wig will only be partially replaced to allow you to remove the packing. I believe this was made in 1912. HEAD: She does not have hairline cracks. She has intact 4 front teeth, a dimple and original brown sleep eyes. The wig is a modern mohair auburn in the paige style. MARKS: (as they appear on head) Made in Germany. The cipher 4 pointed star. BODY: The body is tightly strung. The hands have paint chipping off as seen in pictures and the bottom of the left heel has a hole in it. The rest is the usual dings that these older bodies have. It is not stamped. She has a vintage vs antique slip & panties. They are not a matched set. These are in very good condition, with a few stains. She has reproduction stockings. The shoes are reproduction French style. The 1 piece dress has a dropped waist with a waist band. It closes with buttons. It is not lined but seams are finished. A couple of pictures show a ribbon around her waist. I will send it if desired. I think she looks better without it. The package will be insured for the value paid. No more than 4 dolls per box. PLEASE CHECK IF THERE IS A DOLLAR LIMIT FOR YOUR COUNTRY. Many of these have been put together with parts bought separately over years. I describe to the best of my ability. FOR PACKING I USE PREVIOUSLY USED BOXES, CLEAN PLASTICS THAT CAN BE RECYCLED, NOT NEW PACKING MATERIALS. THE HEAD IS WRAPPED IN EITHER NEW OR USED BUBBLE WRAP. THE BOX/PACKING WILL NOT LOOK PRETTY OR ELEGANT BUT THE CONTENTS WILL BE SECURE. THESE MATERIALS MAY BE PLASTIC MILK CARTONS, NEWSPAPERS, EMPTY FOOD PACKAGES, ETC. These all have been washed in hot soapy water and allowed to dry completely.
