She was made by Armand Marseille in the early 1910s. She has a shoulder plate turned head made of fine bisque with blue paperweight glass eyes. She has painted upper and lower eyelashes and glossy multi-stroke eyebrows. Her lips are peach and she has three/four upper teeth. She has red accent dots in her nostrils and in the corners of her eyes and rosy pink cheeks. Her ears are not pierced and she comes with a replacement human hair blonde wig. Her body is not marked and she stands approx, 20. Her body is made of cotton muslin and kid leather and she has bisque hands and forearms. She is wearing a period dress made of woven cream and pink cotton with polka dots and green circles. It has tiny gathers on the sleeves and buttons in the back. Under her dress, she has a pair of antique lace trimmed pantaloons and a lace trimmed petticoat with pleating and lace. Her black socks are ribbed knit and she has yellow leather shoes. Condition: There is a hairline crack on her temple. It is not visible on the inside of the head and the bisque of the head is stable. There is a white rub on one of her cheeks and there are rubs and wear around the upper edge of the head. She has a repaired finger and there is a line of hot glue on the chest of her body. Her body is in poor condition. The leather is torn on one arm and is leaking sawdust—I wrapped it with a bandage to stop the leaking but it is nearly torn from the body. The leather and the cotton are stained and worn. There are stains and rust spots on the clothing. Please note: the antique books and doll stand are not included and are for display purposes only.
