Antique German Bisque Doll C. M. Bergmann Simon & Halbig #3 withBall Joint Body

She was made by Simon & Halbig and C. Bergmann in the early 1900s. Her socket style head is fine bisque with brown sleep glass eyes. She has painted upper and lower eyelashes and glossy multi-stroke eyebrows. Her lips are light pink with a faint red outline and she has four upper teeth. She has red dots in her nostrils and rosy pink cheeks. Her ears are not pierced and she comes with her original brown mohair wig. She is marked C. Bergmann Simon & Halbig S & H 3 on the back of her neck. Her body is not marked. She has a ball jointed wooden body and stands 25 tall. She is dressed in a period yellow cotton dress with black embroidery decorations. Under the dress, she has an old cotton lace trimmed slip and modern 70s replacement pantaloons. She has period black knit hose and blue leather shoes. The bisque head does not have cracks or repairs but there is a fair amount of staining around the socket part of the head and the upper edge of the head from wig glue residue. Her body is very poor condition. It is badly stained and she is missing fingers on both hands. Her original human hair wig is shedding. Antique Schoenau & Hoffmeister German 1909 8/0 Bisque Cabinet DollOrig Body

This stunning 12-inch Schoenau & Hoffmeister antique mold 1909 8/0 cabinet porcelain doll is a rare find from the early 1900’s, perfect for collectors looking to add a unique piece to their collection. With a fully articulated BJD wooden and composition body, this doll is simply beautiful. Her maker’s mark is the “SHPB Star Symbol 1909, Germany” signifying she is from the pre-1930’s timeframe. Her brown sleep eyes close easily when she reclines, adding to her realistic appearance. This doll is dressed in a wonderful antique outfit, featuring a lace inset at her neck, a string of red beads, a removable apron with hand-stitched edging, and a colorful bodice and delph blue patterned skirt. The bodice and skirt have been sewn together so no attempt to remove them was made to prevent damage to the outfit. Her pantaloons and slips have a linen feel and were not removed. Her wooden clogs are handmade and her brown stockings add to her authentic appearance, while her linen and lace cap completes her charming ensemble. One stocking has a hole at the heel but otherwise they are in decent condition and there is a small opening at the seam on one side of her cap. She will come with her own stand. Antique 24 Bisque Head Compo Body Baby Doll German Cuno Otto Dressel Jutta 1914

Antique 1914 24 Cuno & Otto Dressel Mold 1914 Jutta Baby Doll Bisque Head Human Hair Wig, Set Blue Glass Eyes, Dressed. Cuno & Otto Dressel Mold 1914 Jutta perfect bisque socket head, jointed at the neck, shoulders, wrists and hips – composition bent lag baby body with articulated fingers and raised big toes. Straight blond human hair attached wig with pate, set blue glass eyes, painted lashes, feathered eyebrows, bright cheek blush, peach eye and nostril dots and open lips showing a molded tongue. Painted red toe accents and some red accents on the hands but missing on the fingers. Dressed in a pink and white lace trimmed embroidered organdy baby dress and matching bonnet. Pink satin slip underneath. No undies, booties or stand. Bisque head is free of any chips cracks or hairlines. Facial panting and complexion are lovely and complete. Eyes and tongue are original but neither move. Finish on the composition body shows light to moderate use wear of over 100 years (pictured). Paint is original except for small repairs on butt and upper thigh (pictured). Tips of fingers also appear to have small repairs due to missing fingernail accents that normally are present. All fingers and toes present. Stringing is tight enough – doll is not floppy but not strained by too tight stringing – either. Dress and hat match. They are vintage but not as old as the doll. Dress has a one inch rip in back and closes with a small safety pin instead of the button. Dress also has a tan stain in back about three inches by five inches. Bonnet and slip in good condition. Antique Schoenau Hoffmeister German Doll 19 Cork Stuffed Leather Body

Antique Schoenau Hoffmeister 19 doll made in Germany. She has a bisque head and jointed kid leather cork stuffed body. Her body has a chest label that says “Cork Stuffed”. She has appropriate wear and tear and imperfections according to her age. See pictures as these are the best description. She has a beautiful face with blue eyes and an open mouth with four teeth. The markings on the back of her head say “S PB (inside of Star) H Dep 500 Germany”. She is wearing sweet vintage clothing in fine condition. She is a delightful doll and is ready to be displayed and enjoyed. Examine the pictures carefully as they are part of the description. Antique German Bisque Doll Hermann Steiner #17 withOrg Compo Body 25

She was made by Hermann Steiner in the 1920s. She has socket style bisque head with brown glass stationary eyes. She has painted upper and lower eyelashes and brown multi-stroke eyebrows. Her lips are bright red and she has four upper teeth. She has red accent dots in her nostrils and in the corner of her eyes. Her ears are not pierced and she comes with a replacement blonde human hair wig. She stands 25 tall. She is marked “Made in Germany H St 17 Germany” on the back of her neck. Her ball jointed body is wood and composition and is not marked. Her dress is a modern 70s replacement. It is made of textured white cotton and lace. The slip dress is also antique and made of The petticoat and pantaloons are both modern. They are made of cotton trimmed with lace. She has yellow oil cloth shoes and black knit socks. I believe her is a modern replacement made of satin with floral embellishments. Condition: There are no cracks, repairs or hairlines on the bisque head but there is some wear and damage on the eyelids and glue residue on the bisque around the top edge. There is some evidence of repainting on the body. There are cracks in the body around neck and back and lots of discoloration. The tip of one her fingers is missing and there is wear around the hip joints. The wig is shedding. There is damage on the dress and all the clothing—dry rot, tears, fading and stains. One shoe is missing a buckle and the laces have been replaced. Please note: the antique books and doll stand are not included and are for display purposes only. 14 Antique Bisque Head Doll 74/0 German Leather Body Sleep Eyes

Antique bisque head doll with original sleep eyes. Appears to be dressed all original. Measures approximately 14 inches tall. The bisque head is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Antique GermanParian Bisque Boy Doll With Early Body Make Do Repairs

Offering this antique German Parian Bisque boy doll with wonderful outfit and early make do body. 14 doll with molded blond hair and stunning painted facial features. His body is an early firm stuffed excelsior filled hour glass design with replaced upper and lower arms and replaced lower legs with leather attached booties. He wears fabulous ensemble of clothing tightly pinned and attached to his body. He is a wonderful German doll and would compliment any antique collection. Antique German Doll Walkure by Kley & Hahn Kestner Head withBall Joint Body 20

She was made by Kley & Hahn in the early 1900s. The Walkure mold was made by Kestner. Her socket style head is fine bisque with brown glass sleep eyes. She has real eyelashes and painted upper and lower eyelashes and matte multi-stroke eyebrows. Her lips are red with a darker red outline and she has four upper teeth. She has red accent dots in her nostrils and in the corners of her eyes and rosy pink cheeks. Her ears are not pierced and she comes with her original brown human hair wig. Her clothing is all old and fits her well. She has a cream colored dress made of a linen and cotton blend with pleated details and dramatic lace bell sleeves and bodice. It has tiny buttons in the back and is trimmed with a gathered rose colored ribbon. There is white lace around the hem. Under the dress, she has a one piece cotton pantaloon/camisole jumper with scalloped lace trim and a white cotton slip dress with pleating details and lace trim. She has white knit socks and green oil cloth shoes. She stands 20 tall. She is marked “Walkure Germany 2 50″ on the back of her neck. She has a ball jointed body made of composition. It is not marked. Condition: There are no cracks, repairs or hairlines on the bisque head but there is some wear on the eyelids and stains on the bisque around the upper edge from the wig glue. Most of her eyelashes are missing. There is evidence of repainting on her body, especially around the joints and a rub on the rib cage. She is strung slightly too tight. The rose ribbon trim on her dress is un-stitched in several places and there are small stains and age spots on the dress. There are rust stains on the slip dress from an old pin and one of the pom-poms are missing from one shoe. Antique German Early Simon Halbig 20 Doll Turned Head Mold 1010 Leather Body

Beautiful doll by Simon Halbig! She is about 20 tall. Bisque turned head and shoulder plate; leather body. No visible damage to the bisque head or shoulder plate. Pate and wig are not attached to her head. Pate is broken – see photo. Brown glass sleepy eyes; sleeping eyes mechanism is working. Painted upper and lower lashes. Ears are pierced; small chip to the right earring insertion site – see photo. Wig feels like human hair. Original to this doll. Some repaired leather areas are present. Sawdust leakage to her right leg (covered with tape). Her outfit is partially vintage and new. Shoes seem to be antique. Holes/stains are present to the some of her clothes- see photos. Antique Kley & Hahn German Doll Walkure 24 Bisque Head Fully Jointed Compo Body

This is an antique 24 Kley & Hahn Walkure with a bisque head and fully jointed composition body. She has outlined lips, big brown sleep eyes, pierced ears, mohair wig and antique outfit. Her body has cracks and crazing, see photos. Her hands show heavy rubbing. Her stringing is also loose. Her head is in excellent shape with fine face painting, feathered brows, upper and lower eyelashes. She has an open mouth with 4 inset teeth. Her eyes are in their original set and open/close easily. You can still see the Walkure and Germany marks on her head. There is also a stamp on her hip that says “made in Germany”. She is wearing a white cotton dress with lace trim and insets with 4 snaps/false pearl buttons in the back (great condition), a slip (has stains), pantaloons (held together with a safety pin, has holes), stockings (stains) and cream, leather shoes with ribbon ties.
