Pair of Antique Early 20th Century German Hand Painted Chelsea Style Figurines. Pair of antique hand painted continental Chelsea style porcelain figurines. The girl has light brown hair and eyes and is wearing a dress with white sleeves, a green bodice, and a white skirt with green and maroon flowers and green, gold and maroon scallops. She has maroon encrusted flowers in her left hand and her right hand hovers above the head of a small sheep. With encrusted white flowers around the base. The man has grey hair with brown eyes. He has a grey hat in his left hand a a flower in his right hand. There is a brown and white dog at his left side. Matching white encrusted flowers. Both figures have a gold gilt pseudo Chelsea anchor mark. Probably made in Germany. Both figures have numerous chips to the encrusted flowers. The flower in the gentleman’s hand and two of his fingers have been broken off and glued back on. The girl’s left pinky finger has been broken off. The girl measures approximately 3 7/8 inches wide x 6 3/4 inches tall. The man measures approximately 4 3/4 inches wide x 6 7/8 inches tall. These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the pieces.
